At an event hosted today in Dubai, Breitling introduced the limited edition Navitimer GMT Aurora blue watch to the UAE pilot and aviation professionals community as well as VIPs.

Equipped with its famous aviation slide rule and manufacture Breitling caliber B04 movement, the legendary Navitimer model returns to the UAE in a 1,000 piece limited series featuring an exclusive blue dial and an aircraft-tire tread motif. The iconic watch was described as one of the “definitive pilot's watches.”
The original Navitimer - launched in 1952, allowed pilots to calculate critical information, such as airspeed, flight time, distance, and fuel consumption, all at a glance. This new limited edition Navitimer continues that in spirit with some modern updates - but the design of the watch is very much the same.

This model is specifically aimed at the VIP market. It features original characteristics for a Breitling watch, in the form of a colorful rubber strap that matches the color of the dial adorned with an aircraft-tire tread motif

“Aed Adwan, Breitling Middle East, said: “Aviation is very much an integral part of Breitling’s heritage. Several exceptional teams fly the colours, including the famous Breitling Jet Team and Breitling Wingwalkers with their spectacular aerobatics. Breitling are associated with the greatest airshows on the planet, such as the famous Red Bull Air Race, in which its own team competes under the Breitling hues’’.

Brietling is also the sponsor for the Aviation Professionals Club (APC) in Dubai. The new watch is available at the Breitling Boutique in Dubal Mall and other Breitling outlets across the UAE.
