Aerospace Turbine Services & Solutions (TS&S Aerospace) is the host sponsor for the annual Airline Engineering & Maintenance: Middle East conference, running in Abu Dhabi from April 11-12.

The conference which has been running for 20 years has MRO growth at the heart of its discussions, gathering key stakeholders: airlines, OEMs, MROs and suppliers, to network and discuss a range of aftermarket issues.

Abdul Khaliq Saeed, CEO of TS&S, said: “We are proud to be part of the story of Abu Dhabi’s growth as a major hub of the MRO and aviation industry. Since its inception, TS&S Aerospace has expanded its overseas partner footprint, working in close collaboration with key leading airlines from around the world. From our state-of-the-art facility in Abu Dhabi, we’ve also fostered this success on a foundation of solid partnerships with top-tier and global suppliers and OEMs.

“Events such as Airline Engineering & Maintenance: Middle East help us strengthen these relationships and build new ones by bringing in the best minds in our industry under one roof.”

Thirteen sessions will be led by over 30 leading experts across the conference, with topics ranging from the developments in the Middle East Air Transport Market, the impact of OEM strategies on the aftermarket and how airlines engage with their MRO partners and suppliers.

Among leading industry speakers is Richard Evans, Senior Consultant, FlightAscend Consultancy who will speak on the development of the Middle East’s aviation fleet and take part in a panel discussion on the region’s leasing environment.

Delegates will get exclusive access to Abu Dhabi’s state-of-the-art TS&S Aerospace facility, with a post-conference tour on 12 April.

Delegates will be guided around the 5000 sqm facility, including a dedicated 100,000 lb thrust capable test cell and supporting equipment capable of five axis machining, laser beam welding, plasma screening, non-destructive testing and mechanical cleaning amongst many other special processes.
