Spatial launches mobile virtual slide trainer

Posted 29 August 2017 · Add Comment

Spatial is unveiling its mobile virtual slide trainer at the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium 2017, being held this week in Singapore.

The mobile virtual slide trainer is designed to take Spatial’s market-leading visual technologies to a broader audience at a historically low price point in order to make enhanced scenario based training available to all airlines and training academies.

The device can be placed alongside any existing door trainer regardless of original manufacturer and requires no modification to existing devices. The mobile virtual slide trainer can even be moved between multiple devices if required. Included with the device is a comprehensive suite of visuals including fire, smoke, jetbridge, stairs and water. The device responds to arming and opening of doors and furthermore incorporates auto and total slide inflation malfunctions.
