The main award, Inflight Airline of the Year is in recognition of new onboard products and advancements in the past year, when it comes to inflight entertainment. This includes the introduction of a new first-class suite as well as an enriched IFEC experience with 3,500 hours of leading content and a new in-flight connectivity portal.

The annual awards celebrate outstanding contributions to passenger experience across the in-flight entertainment, connectivity and cabin technology domains.

It was a memorable day for SAUDIA as the airline’s B777 first-class suite earned the airline a second award, “Innovation in commercial airline cabins”.

Judges credited the product with “redefining luxury” and “setting a new mark in the industry”.

Present at the event to collect the awards were Azman Ahmad, SAUDIA General Manager Product Management and Ayman Abuljadayl, Manager Onboard Product Cabin Interior.
