Qatar Airways awarded for excellence amenity kits

Qatar Airways received two Gold Awards for its luxurious new First and Business Class amenity kits at the 2014 TravelPlus Awards. The airline won gold for its exclusive Italian designer Giorgio Armani Fragrances & Beauty First Class Male amenity kit and the Business Class Middle East amenity kit.

Qatar Airways, which remains one of the select few carriers with a Skytrax five-star ranking for service excellence was the only airline to receive two Gold Awards at the event, emphasising the airline’s high quality service among several world-class airlines. 

The event, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Hamburg, Germany, took place during last week’s Aircraft Interiors Expo. 

Rossen Dimitrov, senior vice president of customer experience at Qatar Airways, said: “We are very proud that the jury has gold-certified two of our premium kits. This underlines our commitment to providing our passengers with the very best in order to make their individual journeys as pleasant as possible.” 

Featured within the kits are Giorgio Armani Fragrances & Beauty products from the mythic ‘Acqua di Gio’ and ‘Armani pour Homme’ together with Armani men skincare products, as well as eyeshades, socks and earplugs.
