Novus Aviation Capital the Dubai-based global aircraft leasing platform has acquired three Boeing 737-900ER aircraft from PT Lion Mentari Airlines ('Lion Air'), which have been placed on long operating leases with the Indonesian low-cost carrier

The sale and leaseback transaction adds a new client to the leasing platform’s client portfolio in what Mounir Kuzbari, Novus Managing Director hopes “will be the first of many such transactions with Lion Air.”

Edward Sirait, CEO of Lion Group, said the airline hopes “to expand and deepen our cooperation to our mutual benefit.”
