Northop Grumman navigation system available on Beechcraft King Air turboprops
Northop Grumman's navigation system will soon be offered on Beechcraft King Air special mission aircraft.
The LCR-100N hybrid navigation unit has been chosen by Beechcraft as an inertial product option on King Air turboprops.
"We are pleased to provide our reliable inertial navigation solution for this leading platform in the twin turboprop segment and to expand our relationship with Textron Aviation," said Eckehardt Keip, managing director, Northrop Grumman.
The system provides critical navigation data to the autopilot, extends navigation abilities at extreme latitudes and coasting capability to increase precision.
