The two day conference was organized by the High Commission of the Hail Development Council and managed by Arabian SAS for Events under the patronage of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), to discuss a number of subjects that impact business aviation in the Middle East.

These included: overview on the business aviation industry in the Middle East, regulatory perspective, aircraft design, aircraft charter and leasing, pressing issues, recommendations, solutions, trends and future opportunities.

The conference included 28 exhibitiors, with representatives from companies such as ExecuJet, Arabasco, Rockwell Collins, SITA, Avico, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudi Private Aviation, Tronair, and AirJet Designs.

The keynote speech was delivered by H.E. Sulaiman Abdullah Al Hamdan, the President of GACA to an audience of Saudi royal family members, high net worth individuals and over 200 delegates from 12 countries.

After the success of the conference, a second edition of this event will be held in October next year, under the name of "Saudi Business Aviation Expo”.

Solayman Al Hamdan, the President of Arabian SAS for Events said: "With Saudi Arabia being the largest economy and the market leader in the business aviation industry, recording over 60% of the private jets movements among the GCC states alone, and based on the sound success of the first edition of this event, the forthcoming edition of the event in 2016 will feature static aircraft display and attract more participants from various countries".
