The 2,251-kilometre sector to the Jordanian capital city is a brand new destination for the Hungarian gateway, which offers services to Aqaba in the south of the Middle Eastern country on its Red Sea coast. With this new route addition, the capital city airport will offer 131 destinations in 119 cities from 47 countries in W18/19.

“After the year that Ryanair has just had at Budapest – it grew its passenger count by over 23% in 2017 –it comes as no surprise that it is investing again in further growth with us,” said Balázs Bogáts, Head of Airline Development, Budapest Airport. “Amman had a potential market size of 27,000 passengers per year, so I am pleased that travellers to this intriguing destination can now take the opportunity to use direct non-stop flights courtesy of our important partner Ryanair.”
