Ghana delegation visits UAE to discuss agreements with airline companies

The Honorable Minister of Aviation of Ghana and a delegation were in the UAE during the Arabia Travel Market exhibition earlier this month to discuss bilateral agreements with top airline companies.

Emirates Airline has confirmed that Ghana is a strategic destination for them, while Qatar Airways announces a new destination to Accra in early 2018.

Abu Dhabi Aviation and Royal Jet also welcomed the delegation in order to present their infrastructure and capabilities and confirmed their participation at African Airshow 2017. That will be held at Kotoka International Airport on 24/25/26 October 2017 in Accra.

Also part of the important meetings schedule with Airbus, ATR, Embraer and Bombardier, was held to discuss the creation of a National Airline that Ghana Government wants to launch in 18 months.
