EgyptAir receives the IATA Platinum Award

EgyptAir has received the IATA Platinum Award at the 204th board of governors meeting held recently in Montreal.

Safwat Musallam, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company received the award from Alexandre de Juniac, director general and CEO of IATA.

Musallam said: “This is a new success to be recorded in the company's history, as it is the fist African airline, third in the middle East and 11th in the world to get this award after achieving 80% of IATA's Fast Travel project goals which are offering self-service options that give passengers more control over their journey, starting from booking tickets electronically till they arrive at their destinations.”
