EgyptAir operates special flights between Sharm El- Sheikh and Algeria

“EgyptAir has coordinated and cooperated with the concerned authorities in Algeria and Kuwait to conduct airlifts from both countries to a number of Egyptian cities in Eid Al-Adha," said Safwat Musallam, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding company.

He added that during the last period, from August 14th to the beginning of September, the company has operated special flights between Algeria and Sharm el-Sheikh to activate tourism. The company operated approximately 14 flights, carrying 1260 Algerian passengers to spend summer vacation in Sharm el-Sheikh.

He said: "An additional airlift is scheduled to operate about 20 flights between Kuwait and Assiut, Sohag and Luxor from August 29th to mid-September to transport about 3,000 Egyptian working in Kuwait to spend Eid al-Adha vacation in Egypt during this period.”
