Afrijet to lease a Lebanese B737 for AFCON

Gabon's Afrijet will wet-lease a B737-300 from WOL - Wings of Lebanon for the duration of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament which kicks off in Gabon this weekend, reports ch-aviation.

Airline chief executive Marc Gaffajoli said that as the tournament's official carrier, along with the carrier's three Falcon 900s and four ATR42/72s (one ATR42-300s, two ATR72-500s, and one ATR72-200), would be used to shuttle officials, organisation staff, and the various teams between Libreville, Port Gentil, Franceville/Mvengue, and Oyem.
