50th Annual General Meeting of the Arab Air Carriers' Organization is under way

The 50th Arab Air Carriers' Organization (AACO) 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is currently under way until November 22 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Sharjah with the participation of more than 250 Arab and global aviation industry experts.

The Sessions feature AACO Secretary General’s report on the State of the Industry. Mr. Muhammad Albakri / Regional Vice President -Africa & Middle East, will present the speech of Mr. Alexandre De Juniac, Director General and CEO of IATA, about industry issues.  The session will also include a speech by Eng. Mohamed Sherif, Director General of ACAC, about common issues between AACO and ACAC, and a speech by Prof. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Shaer, Vice President of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences about the cooperation with AACO on Aviation Security issues. This will be followed by a closed session dedicated for AACO members to discuss and decide on internal and administrative issues related to AACO’s work and on common strategic issues.

The afternoon session of 21 November will witness the Joint Aviation Forum; a discussion panel to be moderated by Mr. Jonathan Sullivan of Seabury
